1.       Some people are concerned the providing information about sex and sexuality arouses curiosity and can lead to sexual experimentation.

2.       Sex education brings the information to the front, possibly giving kids ideas of things that they had never thought of before. Instead of just letting things goes by and take their natural course, kids begin thinking about it. They begin to wonder that it is like ( although the media bombards us with ideas of sex all the time ) and my make poor choice that they never would have if they had not heard about it in the first place.

3.       It is the parents responsibility to teach their children about sex, not the schools, teaching sex education in schools takes the responsibility away from the family. It is the parent’s job to raise their own children. Teaching their kids about it creates a short of bond of communication which is lost if they just assume that the school are actually stepping in the toes of family ties. Schools responsibility is teach reading, math, science, social studies, etc. not to educate about sex that is the parent’s job.

4.       Biggest disadvantages is that there is no guarantee that the person teaching it has a healthy attitude about sex, or that the teacher really knows anymore about sex that the students do.
